stones of 0,315" (8 mm), super-resistant waxed thread, nickel and lead-free steel and alloy.

Traditionally, a mala is composed of 108 stones, but it can also be made shorter; the important rule to follow is that it should be a multiple of nine.
A short mala with 8 mm stones allows for easy bead manipulation during meditation and is also easier to wear as it is lighter than the classic "full mala" with 108 stones of 8 mm."
